MotoRaceLab is a data analysis site run by people who love motorcycle road racing.

Our editorial team includes members who raced themselves and then spent years making racing parts, working on racing machines in Japan and abroad, as well as members with a long career in the racing world. We have travelled not only to circuits in Japan but also in Asia and America to watch races in person.

A race result is never down to the rider's skill alone. Engine, chassis, tyres, electronics, weather and track conditions all come together. We want to unravel that complexity, and the fun of it that we saw at the track, with data. That is where MotoRaceLab starts.

Every number on this site is calculated in our database from official records. We use AI only to write and classify text, never to produce numbers. If you find a mistake, please tell us with the "Report an error" link on each page.
